La Gemma is the first of the Cecchi family’s La Gemma Collection. The family aims to “become a benchmark for a new way of traveling, offering authentic, high-quality hospitality,” according to Forbes Italia.

The name of this hotel is a nod to the Cecchi surname, with parents Luca and Alessandra Cecchi forming “La,” and their children, Ginevra, Edoardo, Massimiliano, Maria Sole, and Andrea Cecchi, forming “Gemma” (Forbes Italia).

The aesthetic pulls from Florentine heritage and Art Deco, featuring marble, herringbone floors, bronze accents, lush velvet, rich greens, and subtle pinks.
