Travelling to another country can be costly before you've even arrived at the airport; from booking flights, adding luggage, paying for insurance and not to mention securing accommodation.
And that's all before you allocate spending money on excursions, meals and souvenirs.
But experienced travellers Georgia and Dan have revealed the countries you can visit while you're young and, more importantly, on a tight budget.
The Australian natives posted a round-up of the destinations on their popular Instagram account, called 'G & Dan - Travel Adventure Creators'.
In the clip, they broke down the cost of the trip, from accommodation to food, as well as sharing memories from their time there.
First on their list is Guatemala, with the pair revealing how accommodation in the Central American country is as little as $15 (£7).
Transport, they claim, costs just $5-10 (£2-5), with activities from $10 (£5) and food between $3-6 (£1-3).
Staying in Central America, the couple travelled next to Nicaragua, where accommodation is between $12-18 (£6-9)
