Rock and Bastick to be part of Brennan's backroom team - reports

New Dublin football manager Ger Brennan is set to include former team mates Dean Rock and Denis Bastick in his backroom team, according to reports.
Brennan was appointed the new supremo in the capital last Friday on a three-year term, succeeding Dessie Farrell who steered the Dubs to All-Ireland SFC title wins in 2020 and 2023 during his tenure.
Both the Irish Independent and Irish Examiner report that the St Vincent’s clubman’s coaching ticket will have eight-time All-Ireland winner Rock and five-time All-Ireland winner Bastick.
There is also speculation that DCU professor Niall Moyna, who was part of Brennan’s backroom team in Louth, will also be part of the Metropolitans managerial set-up.
