Lee Keegan Eases Meath Concerns By Revealing Mayo Challenge Exploits

Considering the nature of this season's GAA calendar, it will be difficult to anticipate where some counties are at ahead of the start of the All-Ireland series. The likes of Donegal, Meath, Tyrone, and Mayo have had lengthy layoffs on the back of their early exits from the provincial championship.
Those counties have had quite a while to prepare for their upcoming fixtures, also having the advantage of a longer time to prepare for their upcoming opponents thanks to the draw taking place at such an early stage.
One of the more intriguing counties heading into the opening round is Meath, who had a stellar league campaign before faltering against Westmeath in the opening round of the championship.

Lee Keegan reveals Mayo vs Meath challenge gameGAA fans have not been able to have a look at Meath since their Leinster championship exit on April 19th, although it has been rumoured that Robbie Brennan's side are still in fine fettle ahead of their trip to Cork this weekend.
Writing in his column for RTÉ, Lee Keegan revealed that the Royal County had a big win over Mayo in a recent challenge match.
Meath got a rude awakening in the Leinster championship - one they were supposed to win according to many pundits, including this one.
But one off-day doesn't negate their excellent form across last summer and in this year's league. I gather they brought a pretty stacked team to Mayo for a challenge game in the last couple of weeks and won well...
I expect an angry response to their Leinster setback and I think they'll come away with the win.
Both Cork and Meath will go into that game with a point to prove, have been produce underwhelming performances during their respective championship exits.
That challenge game result does not sound promising for Mayo, who face a daunting trip to an in-form Monaghan in their opening All-Ireland series game.
It should make for an intriguing couple of weeks of action.
