Freeview rival is back with a blockbuster upgrade that offers more things to watch

Freeview is already under the spotlight, with its future looking increasingly uncertain. More and more homes are now switching to streaming, and it's thought that millions will have ditched aerials within the next few years. If that wasn't bad enough for the telly service, a rival device has just returned and now offers even more things to watch.
The Manhattan Aero 4K TV Streamer is fully powered by Freely. For those not aware, Freely allows homes to watch live content online rather than via an old-fashioned signal beamed through the air.
This hassle-free device clearly caught the eye of consumers and quickly sold out after launching in stores earlier this year. Since then, the Aero 4K TV Streamer has been difficult to get hold of, but Manhattan says it is now fully restocked and ready to meet the "strong demand" seen since its release.
Alongside its return, the Aero is getting another bonus. It's been confirmed that HBO Max is being added to the box.
HBO Max brings together content from HBO, Max Originals, Warner Bros., DC, and more in a single app.
Popular TV series available through HBO Max include The Last of Us, House of the Dragon, Succession, and The White Lotus. Movie fans can also enjoy titles such as the complete Harry Potter collection and the Batman film franchise.
The addition of HBO Max strengthens the Aero's entertainment offering, although access to the service requires a separate subscription, with plans starting from £4.99 per month.
For viewers looking to avoid extra costs, the Aero still offers a wide range of free content through Freely. Users can access more than 50 live TV channels, extensive on-demand programming, voice search, personalised recommendations, a full TV guide, and the ability to pause live television.
Alex Arbab-Zadeh, COO of Manhattan, said: "I'm very pleased to say we now have Aero back in stock at numbers that we're confident will be able to meet the incredible demand we've seen for this great product.
"The addition of HBO Max to Aero – with its rich library of premium content and access to some of the world's biggest sporting events – makes an already excellent product even better. Stay tuned for even more app additions this year, bringing Aero owners even greater value and entertainment."
The Manhattan Aero 4K TV Streamer with Freely is available now for £89.99 from retailers including Currys, Argos and John Lewis.
