Another week is underway in soapland, with drama set to take another drastic turn next week - from the Dales to Albert Square.

Emmerdale residents face the aftermath of the slurry spill, with Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) remaining by her son Harry's bedside in hospital. Her brother, John (Oliver Farnworth) isn't far, supporting her throughout.

But he could run a mile when he receives news from his ex-fiancé Aidan. And with Nate's death on the brink of being exposed, the sinister paramedic may be teetering on the edge.

Meanwhile, there's bad blood between Mick (Joe Layton) and Kit (Jacob Roberts), with their feud announcing chaos in Weatherfield. Could an innocent resident be caught up in the mayhem?

In Walford, Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) is facing the repercussions of his illicit romance with Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) in true EastEnders fashion. Zack (James Farrar), on the other hand, is waging war on Nicola (Laura Doddington). Here's everything you need to know.

Harry is in hospital while Mackenzie (Lawrence Robb) is a pariah. Moira (Natalie J Robb) awaits the bill for the slurry spill clean-up, fatalistic about the farm’s prospects.

When insurers refuse to cover for Mack’s apparent negligence, Moira faces the end of an era as the farm is left in jeopardy. Blaming himself for Harry’s condition, Mack breaks down - and John’s own guilt threatens to overwhelm him too.

In the hospital, Victoria thanks John for his support. He’s rattled when he sees Cathleen, who assumes he’s been notified about Aidan. At the mention of John, Aidan’s eyelids suddenly spring open. What will he remember?

Tracy (Amy Walsh) is still secretly using Nate’s credit card but when it’s suddenly declined, Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) decides to help her. After considering a trip to Shetland, Belle explains to Sam (James Hooton) that Nate never arrived at his job.

Cain (Jeff Hordley) struggles with the information, while John tries to convince Belle that Nate doesn’t want to be found. At the Lake, Nate’s arm looms below the surface, ready to be found.

Elsewhere, while the Dingles prepare for John and Aaron’s wedding, Sarah’s (Katie Hill) keeping her fertility appointment a secret. During the consultation, Dr Knapp tells her she found some inflammation while examining her cervix. Later, Sarah heads to the hospital alone and waits for her biopsy results.

Bernie (Jane Hazlegrove) catches Brody (Ryan Mulvey) shoplifting and Kit goes after him, before exchanging words with Mick. Kit taunts Mick, letting slip that Lou (Farrel Hegarty) isn’t as loyal as he likes to think.

Sarah (Tina O'Brien) calls at the Bistro to book a romantic meal for Kit’s birthday while Mick confronts Lou over the copper’s earlier remark. Tempers rise and before long, Lou is out of contact, leaving Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) and Chesney (Sam Aston) worried about what Mick might have done to her.

Kit calls Mick to get answers but Mick only screams that everything is down to him. Mick kills the call and decides to take matters into his own hands.

Meanwhile, Craig (Colson Smith) is excited to shadow Kit as part of his CID placement and he sets up an internet date for that same evening. Ignored by Kit during the day, a despondent Craig tells Lisa (Vicky Myers) that Kit doesn’t rate his work - but she encourages him to prove Kit wrong.

Craig sees his chance when he’s called to investigate a disturbance. However, an ambulance then arrives and paramedic Asha (Tanisha Gorey) leaps into action as Craig fights for his life.

Elsewhere, Sarah returns home, unaware that Mick has followed her in. She turns and jumps out of her skin before ordering him to leave - but he insists he won’t be going anywhere.

Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa) is struggling with Jimmy while Peter (Thomas Law) tries to support her. But he’s secretly worried about her past addictions. After a run-in with Cindy (Michelle Collins), Lauren gets upset, fearing she’s a bad mother.

Later, Linda (Kellie Bright) arrives with a gift and insists on a chat with Lauren. After a frank conversation about their experiences with alcohol addiction, Linda gives Lauren some much-needed advice. However, tensions between Lauren and Peter escalate ahead of their appointment with health visitor Belinda.

At No.31, Mo and Jean are away, leaving Lily (Lillia Turner) and Freddie (Bobby Brazier) to run the household as Stacey (Lacey Turner) refuses to leave her bedroom. The strain takes a toll on Lily and lies to Kat (Jessie Wallace) and Eve (Heather Peace). But when Freddie makes a huge realisation, he tells Kat the truth.

Meanwhile, Zack hears from Whitney that she’s found a safe place for her and the girls to live, somewhere Nicola won’t find them. Vicki suggests Zack brushes it off.

When he learns Barney (Lewis Bridgeman) has been struggling with feeling isolated from his family, he decides to make the trip - and he’s taking Barney with him.

Elsewhere, Kathy and Harvey enjoy spending time together, despite feeling guilty about the impact of their relationship on others. But their joy is short-lived when Kat sacks Harvey.

Joel (Rory Douglas-Speed) is hoping for a reunion with Leela (Kirsty-Leigh Porter) when she admits she’s struggling with Clara alone. But Tommy gets involved and blackmails Jew into getting rid of Leela for good. Nancy hides a positive pregnancy test result and confides in Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) - will she keep the baby?

Meanwhile, Dodger (Danny Mac) offers Rex (Jonny Labey) immunity if he exposes DI Banks. Rex then confronts Grace (Tamara Wall), who denies knowing anything about Frankie (Isabelle Smith) and Dillon’s (Nathaniel Dass) whereabouts. Elsewhere, Robbie (Charlie Wernham) is being held captive when he hears Vicky’s (Anya Lawrence) voice from another nearby locked room and calls out to her.

Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) is concerned about her relationship with Paul (Stefan Dennis) and admits to Susan (Jackie Woodburne) she’s struggling. She makes a controversial decision and Darcy (Mark Raffety) spills the beans.

Karl (Alan Fletcher) probes Amanda (Briony Behets) about Darcy, uneasy about his persistent attention towards her. He’s then forced to backpedal when she sets the record straight - but Darcy spots him leaving and hatches a sinister plan.

Andrew (Lloyd Will) is angry that Wendy (Candice Leask) would think he’s having an affair but she presents him with evidence, including photos of his unmistakable tattoo on a dating app. But he’s convinced something’s amiss.

Levi (Tristan Gorey) grows concerned for Mackenzie (Emily Weir) who tells Tane (Ethan Browne) about her plans to start a family. Harper (Jessica Redmayne) arrives home early from her trip and tries to surprise Tane, but he’s emotionless when he takes in her presence.

Roo (Martha MacKenzie) worries for Eliza (Martha Kate Morgan) and unpacks the music box filled with questionable artefacts. She covers when Eliza nearly walks in on her. Later, Eliza goes through her treasures, but her knife is missing.

Remi (Adam Rowland) and Bree (Juliet Godwin) arrive home and find an envelope full of money - Sonny is finally paying off his debt. But where did he get the money?
