Margot Robbie Models Same High-Slit Dress as Kendall Jenner, but Styled Differently

It seems Margot Robbie is taking inspiration from Kendall Jenner’s Thierry Mugler dress to create fashion moments on the red carpet. Styled by Andrew Mukamal, the 35-year-old actor was recently at the New York City premiere of “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey,” looking stunning in the reissued piece from a 1998 Spring Haute Couture design.

Margot Robbie recently made a bold statement in a Thierry Mugler re/edit jeu de paume dress, which Kendall Jenner wore for a L’Oréal Paris x Mugler campaign. The ensemble was originally part of the Spring-Summer 1998 “Jeu de Paume” couture collection. The 35-year-old actor stepped out in the gown at AMC Lincoln Square on September 15 for the premiere of “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey.”

The Hollywood icon shone in the Mugler white corset bodice. The long, ad form-fitting black dress in stretch crepe featured a plunging V-neckline, as per the company’s website. It also had “ultra-long side slits” and “lacing and an invisible zipper in the back.”

To bring the whole outfit together, Robbie pulled her hair into a sleek-messy bun with a curled tendril in the front for a touch of softness. She completed her look with minimal makeup and strappy black heels. At the event, the star also posed with Colin Farrell, who looked dapper in a double-breasted suit. Also in attendance at the event were co-stars Lily Rabe and Hamish Linklater. Sarah Gadon and director Kogonada were also present at the red carpet.

This is the second vintage Mugler dress that Robbie picked for her press tour. On September 11, the Aussie star gave boss lady vibes in London in a satin bralette and a pencil skirt. Her outfit was from the Mugler re/edit capsule inspired by the Lingerie Fall-Winter 1998/99 collection.
