Nutritionist shares everything she eats in a day to stay healthy – breakfast to dinner

With an abundance of diet advice out there, it’s sometimes overwhelming trying to figure out what to eat. But one nutritionist has shared exactly what they eat in a day, showing meals from breakfast to dinner.
Nutritionist, Emily English, also know as Em the Nutritionist, has taken to TikTok to share exactly what she eats in a day. The expert, whose cookbook became a number one Sunday Times bestseller, showed followers what she eats for each meal. Each dish demonstrates how the nutritionist incorporates a range of essential nutrients into her diet.

Firstly, the expert introduces her breakfast meal of ‘get the glow’ avocado toast. While perhaps a standard dish, Emily adds some unexpected ingredients.
In her video caption from 2023 she writes, “For breakfast I made my favourite ‘get the glow’ avocado toast. I mix my avocado with lots of basil, spring onion, a crumble of feta and a scattering of prepared pomegranate seeds.
“A little sprinkle gives my dishes a boost of fibre, glow-giving vitamins C, B vitamins and a huge hit of antioxidants. I always have a pot in my fridge to give my dishes an extra boost of nutrition – with none of the mess!”
The expert added that home cooks can sprinkle pomegranate seeds to almost anything as a healthy way to elevate the same, repeated dishes they might be making.
For her second meal of the day, Emily showed viewers a kale Caesar salad with crispy garlic chickpeas.
She said: “I use yoghurt in my signature dressing which gives a gorgeous creamy tang and helps soften the kale. The chickpeas provide a hit of fibre and protein and give a crunch that is reminiscent of the usual croutons.
“Dinner was my chicken Romesco bowl,” she continued.
For this meal she recommended including roasted hazelnuts, roasted peppers, smoked paprika, vinegar, garlic and olive oil, recommending that home chefs roast the hazelnuts “until they smell lovely and toasty”.
“It creates the most gorgeous smoky sauce that pairs so well with the sweet pop of pomegranate seeds,” she said. “If you do anything this week, give these recipes a try! You’ll find prepared pomegranate seeds in all major supermarkets.”
