Who Taylor Swift Chose as Her Sole Man of Honor in Lieu of Bridesmaids

THE RUNDOWN
- Taylor Swift’s rep revealed the singer’s bridal party shortly after her wedding to Travis Kelce.
- The singer didn’t have any bridesmaids and had just one man of honor instead.
- Swift chose a member of her family for the special role: her little brother, Austin.
While tabloids and news outlets alike speculated for months on who Taylor Swift’s bridesmaids could be, it turns out the singer went in a different direction for her Madison Square Garden wedding to Travis Kelce.
In a statement immediately after their wedding, Swift’s spokesperson told People that the singer tapped just one person to be in her bridal party—and he is exceptionally special.
“Taylor and Travis did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen,” her rep said. “Instead, her brother Austin Swift served as Taylor’s Man of Honor and Jason Kelce was Travis’s Best Man. The ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler.”
Austin is just three years younger than Swift. They work together on her business and are very close. She even spoke about how he helped get her masters back in 2025, telling Kelce on New Heights, “Rather than send lawyers or management, like, in a big crew, I sent my mom and brother, who I work with, to L.A. They told them what this meant for me…they told them the whole story of all the times we’ve tried to buy it, all the times it’s fallen through, all the times we had gotten plans together and figured out something we thought was going to work, and it didn’t at the last minute.”
While they keep their relationship largely out of the public eye, Swift posted a tribute to her little brother in 2020, touching on how she cherishes their friendship.
“It’s National Siblings Day!” she wrote. “My brother @austinkingsleyswift is one of my best pals, and I’m really proud of him because he’s in a film that came out today called We Summon The Darkness (which he also co-produced).”
During her Songwriters Hall of Fame speech last month, Swift teared up speaking about Austin’s and her parents’ support of her career.
“It felt easy to work incredibly hard at this,” she said of songwriting. “It felt easy to nurture something I loved so much, to watch calluses form on the tips of my tiny fingers, and to become a constant observer of the human condition, because people’s feelings, passions, and motivations have always fascinated me, and it was easy to choose songwriting over everything else in my life, but it couldn’t have been easy for my parents and my brother—” She paused, getting emotional. “I’m good—to just pick up and move our entire family from Pennsylvania to relocate to Nashville, so that I could hone my craft in the songwriting capital of the world. But after it became obvious that this was not even remotely a temporary phase their tween daughter was going through, they uprooted their entire lives to move me to Music City, and even though words are supposed to kind of be my thing, I will never be able to express my gratitude to you guys for doing that for me. You’re the reason I’m here tonight.”
