Taylor Swift Subtly Revealed Where She Stands With Travis Kelce Amid Marriage Rumors

Last week, Chicago Bears player Cole Kmet’s wedding planner, Ellie Nottoli, sparked rumors that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce might have secretly tied the knot when she shared a “Taylor and Travis Kelce” place card for the couple at his nuptials. Swift shut down that chatter firsthand during her visit to a children’s hospital in Hollywood, Florida, on Saturday.

She spoke to a patient about why she was there, saying, “My boyfriend is training here, so I just thought I’d come and see how you’re doing.” Calling Kelce her boyfriend doubled as a dismissal of any engagement rumors, too.

Swift has been with Kelce in Florida, where the Kansas City Chiefs tight end has been preparing for his upcoming preseason later this summer.

Kelce and Swift will celebrate their two-year anniversary in a matter of weeks. The couple is in it for the long haul, a source told Us Weekly back in December, but they’re not rushing into anything.

“Taylor does feel like Travis is The One, but jumping in is not her style,” the source explained. “That’s just not how she does [things]. Marriage is a big deal, and she wants [it to be] forever.”

In February, an insider told the outlet that Swift and Kelce were both “on the same page about taking the next step [and getting engaged]” but were enjoying this period of their love story in private. Two months later, a source told Us Weekly that their engagement plans had not changed but didn’t share when Kelce would propose.

Swift and Kelce have been keeping things private on purpose. On June 4, a source explained to Us Weekly that “they are making fewer public appearances together because [their relationship] brings too much unwanted attention, but there isn’t trouble in paradise.”

Kelce began this week in France, where he and brother Jason Kelce did a panel at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Swift was not seen there with him. She didn’t attend the festival last year when he went either, in part due to security concerns.

The couple had their last public date night on June 12, to attend the fourth game of the 2025 Stanley Cup Final in Sunrise, Florida.
