Meghan Markle shared footage of a very special Easter moment on Instagram yesterday—and gave fans a glimpse of her style for the holiday. The Duchess of Sussex witnessed a family of ducks walking across the driveway. She was filmed in a white sleeveless shirtdress, expressing her amazement. “Wishing you a Happy Easter full of love….and surprises!” she wrote.
This is not Meghan’s first time embracing the white shirtdress. She notably wore one in October 2019 during a visit to South Africa with Prince Harry:
For the 2018 Royal Ascot, she chose a long-sleeve style with a black belt and matching hat for a more minimalist look.
The duchess has been sharing more looks at her style lately on Instagram, be it the black Carolina Herrera look she wore to see Gypsy on Broadway or the cozy white sweater set from Gap that she wore while baking at home.
Meghan is having a big spring with the launch of her Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, lifestyle line As Ever, and podcast Confessions of a Female Founder. Last month, she gave a rare interview to People about this period in her life and her excitement debuting so many projects.
Now that her kids, 5-year-old Archie and 3-year-old Lilibet, are past the toddler stage, Meghan said it is a great time to get back to work. “When your children get to a certain age—when you’re not just playing in the sandbox with them but almost playing in your own sandbox again—it’s super joyful,” she explained. “As a woman, a mom and a wife, to be able to find yourself again—in a way that was always present but that you maybe couldn’t put as much attention on as you now can when your kids are a little bit older—is a wonderful feeling.”
She added it has been an incredible time in her relationship with her husband, Prince Harry, too: “My husband met me when I had The Tig [her old lifestyle blog], and I see this spark in his eye when he sees me doing the thing that I was doing when he first met me. It’s almost like a honeymoon period again because it’s exactly how it was in the beginning when he’d watch me scribbling away, writing newsletters, fine-tuning edits and just really being in the details of it. I think he loves watching as much as I love doing that creative process. It’s just been fun. This is who I’ve always been.”
