XO, Kitty Season 4: What We Know So Far

Season 3 spoilers ahead.
After two seasons’ worth of trials and tribulations, XO, Kitty has treated fans to one more go-around with the arrival of season 3, which sees the titular Kitty (Anna Cathcart) trying to make the most of her senior year at KISS with her “Senior Sunset List,” a guide that will help her “figure out where I want to go for college, have a traditional chuseok with my Korean family,” and “[define] the relationship with Min Ho and I.”

But with Kitty gearing up to complete her senior year and figure out where she stands with Min Ho, it presents the possibility of the show potentially ending with its third season instead of continuing with a fourth.
Here’s everything we know about a potential XO, Kitty season 4.
Has XO, Kitty been renewed for season 4?Not yet, but a renewal announcement could possibly be on the way. XO, Kitty season 2 premiered on Jan. 16, 2025, and by Valentine’s Day of that year, Netflix had announced that the show would come back for a third season.
Who is in the cast?Cast details for XO, Kitty season 4 have not been revealed yet, but should the show move forward, expect all of your main season 3 favorites to come back: Cathcart (Kitty Song Covey), Minyeong Choi (Dae), Gia Kim (Yuri), Sang Heon Lee (Min Ho), Anthony Keyvan (Q), Regan Aliyah (Juliana), Hojo Shin (Jiwon), Peter Thurnwald (Alex), Joshua Lee (Jin), Sasha Bhasin (Praveena), Michael K. Lee (Professor Lee), Philippe Lee (Mr. Moon), Jocelyn Shelfo (Madison), Han Bi Ryu (Eunice), and Sunny Oh (Mihee).

XO, Kitty season 3 largely follows Kitty during her senior year of school as she attempts to put a stamp on her relationship with Min Ho. The official synopsis reads, “Kitty Song Covey returns for her final year at KISS with her perfect senior year mapped out. She’s going to make meaningful memories with her friends, grow closer to her relatives in Korea, and make big decisions about her future. And she’s going to define her relationship with Min Ho. For real this time. But when surprise revelations throw her plans, and relationships, off course, Kitty will have to learn to embrace the unexpected.”
It’s also worth noting that XO, Kitty split Kitty’s time at KISS into semesters—season 1 followed the first half of her junior year, while season 2 completed the second half of her junior year. Season 3 ends with Kitty and Min Ho heading to Portland; a fourth season could continue with her final semester at KISS or follow her to college at NYU.
What has the cast said about the ending of season 3?In an interview with Refinery29, Cathcart revealed that she thinks Kitty and Min Ho are “end game,” which could set the stage for a fourth season.
“I definitely think if you ask them on that airplane, they would both say they are end game,” Cathcart says. “In that moment, they feel closer than ever and more excited than ever about the future; so much of the theme of season 3 is embracing the unknown and not knowing what’s gonna happen next and finding the joy in that versus the fear in that. And I think that really applies to their relationship as well.”
Lee added, “You get to see that they started this relationship, but sometimes all good things come to an end. And even if it’s something bad, there will be an ending. But also I feel that the audience should realize it’s okay; this is how life works. But there’s always a better thing to look forward to as well. It’s not the end of the world.”
In an interview with Us Magazine in May 2026, Cathcart implied that she isn’t sure season 4 is happening—even though she really wants it to.
“To be honest, it is such a big question mark right now,” Cathcart explained, adding, “We’re not sure if we’re going to get a season 4 or not. But I think that either way, we’re really proud of season 3, and it was so fun to get to be back with everybody and shoot again. It did have a different feeling [than] season 2 and season 1.”
She continued, “Of course, we’d be so lucky and so happy to do a season 4. But we’re still waiting on the answer. I’m also just as anxiously waiting as you are, I promise.”
But there’s plenty that Cathcart thinks could still be explored.
“I do think there’s a lot of exciting chapters for Kitty coming up that would be so interesting to see,” she shared. “She has graduation, and having that chapter be finalized would be so, so exciting. It just means so much—even for me personally—to put a bow on Kitty’s high school years.”
