Jenna Ortega Wears Chic All-Black Look on Ferris Wheel Ride With The Weeknd

On Saturday, Jenna Ortega and The Weeknd took a ride on the ferris wheel at Coachella to promote the release of their new film together, Hurry Up Tomorrow. In photos taken by director Gunner Stahl, the co-stars can be seen wearing coordinated all-black looks. The musical artist is in a black coat over a black hoodie and covering his face with a black-and-white bandana. He accessorized with a pair of sunglasses and a Raiders trucker hat.
The Wednesday star was wearing a sheer black top over a black bralette with an oversized black leather jacket and a pair of jeans cinched with a thin black belt. Ortega had her hair down in waves and was also wearing sunglasses, which she pulled down to reveal a smokey eyeliner look.

The ride was part of a fan event for the thriller, which will be released on May 16. The movie also stars Barry Keoghan, and follows a musician struggling with insomnia, who “is pulled into an odyssey with a stranger who begins to unravel the very core of his existence,” per Deadline.
Ortega has been very busy with filming the second season of her Netflix hit, Wednesday, and recently released the A24 film, Death of a Unicorn. For Interview Magazine, Ortega spoke with actress Natalie Portman, where they compared notes about moving from one character the next.
Portman asked Ortega, “Have you had a hard time shaking a character before?”
She replied, “I’m like you. It’s more so when it’s a physical overtaking. That or if I’m really enveloped in the story. If it’s something that’s very meaningful to me, I don’t want to let the project go. I’ve had characters I grew really fond of and miss. Sometimes I’ll hop to the next job and have to really work on shaking previous habits. I try to wake up in my hotel room and do things differently to get rid of that stench.”
