Police want to talk to man they say uttered sexually inappropriate words to young girls

Police are asking for the public's assistance as they search for a man who allegedly made inappropriate comments of a sexual nature to a group of girls.

Last Sunday afternoon, officers were called to Attawandaron Park in north London after a call about a suspicious person.

They learned that three girls walking on the pathway had come across a man with a white dog. While the girls spoke with the man about the dog, he uttered inappropriate comments about his genitals, police said.

A white man approximately 5’9” to 6’0”, 30 to 40 years old, with medium build and brown hair below the ears walks his small white dog.

The girls left the area and told their parents, who contacted the London Police Service. Officers searched the park but did not find the suspect. They say they're treating this as a sexual assault investigation and want to talk to the man.

The suspect is described as male, white, approximately 5'9" to 6'0," 30 to 40 years old, medium build and brown hair below the ears.

Investigators are urging anyone who was in the area between 12:30 and 1 p.m. Sunday afternoon and have surveillance footage to contact LPS.
