Free fitness, nature walks and family fun during Recreation and Parks Month in London

The City of London is inviting residents to get active this month with a wide range of free programs and events as part of Recreation and Parks Month.
Held throughout June, the annual celebration highlights the benefits of parks, recreation and outdoor spaces while encouraging people of all ages to try new activities.
Among the offerings are outdoor yoga sessions, pickleball and badminton, community walks, nature-based programming along with activities geared toward children, families and older adults. The events are being held at community centres, parks and recreation facilities across the city.
The city has scheduled dozens of free events across London, ranging from mindfulness and fitness classes and sports programs to guided walks and family-friendly activities.
The month-long initiative is part of a broader effort to encourage healthy lifestyles and help residents discover the recreation opportunities available in their neighbourhoods.
Many activities are free, but some require advance registration due to limited space. A full schedule of events and registration information is available on the city's Recreation and Parks Month webpage.
