Terrible accident in Tunceli! Car crashes into stream: Staff sergeant dies
The accident occurred around 11:00 p.m. on the Tunceli - Erzincan highway in the İnönü neighborhood. The car, license plate 35 GT 786, driven by Haydar Y., who works for the Provincial Gendarmerie Command , lost control and plunged into a stream under a bridge under rehabilitation work, where water had stopped flowing.
Following a report, health, police, fire, and AFAD teams were dispatched to the scene. Haydar Y., trapped in the vehicle, was extricated by the teams. After receiving first aid, Haydar Y. was taken to Tunceli State Hospital, where he died. Haydar Y.'s body was taken to the hospital morgue for an autopsy. Despite the presence of another occupant in the vehicle, the teams conducted a search of the surrounding area. An investigation into the accident has been launched.
