Speaking at the press conference held after the match at Mesta Stadium, Hysky stated that he was proud of his team.

Hysky, stating that his team played their full potential, said, "My team played a very good match, 100%. We were dominant offensively, creating many scoring opportunities thanks to our high pressure, but we couldn't convert them in the final minutes. Ederson had a good game, and we also hit the post. We put on a brave performance. I believe our fans watched some good football , and I'm proud of my team."

Hysky stated that the referee made the right decision regarding the penalty and continued:

"I wasn't sure at first, but when I watched it later, I realized the referee made the right decision. First, the foul was committed against our player; the opponent nearly took his jersey off him. For this reason, I believe it was the right decision. A last-minute penalty like that would have been a painful decision. We played very actively and took many corners, but we couldn't convert them into goals."

Hysky , describing their outstanding performance, said, "Our center-backs played very well. The midfield trio was incredible. They handled very difficult balls well and accelerated the game. It's difficult to maintain this intense tempo for 90 minutes. Tedesco surprised us; he hadn't made many substitutions in recent matches, but he made even more so today. Fenerbahçe is a very high-level team. It's a great advantage for a manager to have such players in addition to the starting eleven."

When asked about the banner that read "We must fight the Turks" before the match, the media manager of the host club, Vaclav Hanzlik, intervened and gave the following answer:

"This is a quote from the book 'The Lion Soldier Švejk'. When he says there must be a war with the Turks, he means war with the Turks, not against the Turks. Actually, it's a humorous approach, and it doesn't mean war. This is a quote from the book. I don't think we should dwell on it too much."
