The 2025-2026 season fixtures in the 1st League have been drawn
The fixtures for the 2025-2026 season in the 1st League have been drawn.
TFF Board Members and the presidents and managers of the 1st League clubs attended the fixture drawing held at the Turkish Football Federation ( TFF ) Hasan Doğan National Teams Camp and Training Facilities in Riva.
The first week matches in the league, where 20 teams will compete, will be played on 8-9-10-11 August.
The first half of the season will end with the matches to be played on December 26-27-28-29. The second half will start with the 20th week matches to be played on January 9-10-11-12 and will be completed with the 38th week matches to be played on May 2.
Play-off competitions will be held in the 3-week period following the end of the regular season.
IT WILL BE PLAYED WITH 18 TEAMS FROM THE 2026-2027 SEASONThe teams that take the first 2 places in the league and the team that wins the play-off final will be promoted to the Super League. The teams that finish the season in the last 5 places will be relegated. The 1st League will be played with 18 teams starting from the 2026-2027 season.
Making a statement during the fixture draw, TFF Deputy Chairman Mecnun Otyakmaz stated that they were excited about a new season and noted the following:
"The excitement in the league where our clubs from all over Türkiye compete is increasing every day. We expect the stands to be full in the league where young talents emerge. High-level competition will increase the brand value of the league. There will be difficulties this season as in every season. However, these difficulties will be overcome with unity and solidarity. I welcome Serik Belediyespor, Sarıyer and Vanspor who will be in our league in the new season and wish success to all our teams. I hope that all our football players who will compete in the league will have a season free of injuries."
