Onuachu, with whom Trabzonspor agreed on a transfer, came to Trabzon

Onuachu, who landed at the Trabzon Airport International Terminal, appeared before the burgundy-blue fans wearing his Trabzonspor jersey and scarf. The fans also presented the Nigerian player with flowers.

Speaking to the press at the airport, Onuachu said he was very happy to return to Trabzonspor.

Onuachu emphasized that he had previously played on loan at Trabzonspor and was waiting for the day he would return to the city, and noted the following:

"When I came last time, I felt incredible love. This time, I'm here with a transfer fee. I'll be here for many years. I have unfinished business here. I'm here to finish that business. I saw the love of the fans when I first came, and I see it now when I come."

Stating that it was easy for him to choose the claret-blue club, Onuachu continued as follows:

"Last time I came here, I felt the love of this team. I said, 'I always have unfinished business with this city, this team, this club.' So my choice was not a coincidence. I am here to reciprocate that love. It was an easy decision for me. I wanted to be in the place where I felt that love again."

The Nigerian center forward, who was reminded of scoring 17 goals in his first season with Trabzonspor, gave the following answer to the question, "How many goals do you aim to score this season?":

"Of course, my goal is to contribute to my team by scoring as many goals as possible. I can't wait to meet my teammates and coaches for the start of the season. I hope we will do great things together."

Answering questions from members of the press, the Nigerian player gave the claret-blue fans a three-way hug before leaving the airport in his club car.
