Diogo Jota died: The traffic accident that devastated the football world came to mind

Apart from Portuguese footballer Diogo Jota, Bulgarian Georgi Asparuhov, Italian Gaetano Scirea, Argentinian Diego Barisone, Panamanian Rommel Fernandez, Spanish Jose Antonio Reyes, Juan Gomez Gonzalez, English Laurie Cunningham, Peter Houseman, North Macedonian Petar Milosevski, German Lutz Eigendorf, Colombian Freddy Rincon, Marino Klinger, Brazilian Everaldo and Heraldo Bezerra also upset the football world by not surviving traffic accidents in various countries.
Galatasaray's legendary football player Metin Oktay lost his life in a traffic accident at the age of 51.
Metin Oktay could not be saved in the hospital to which he was taken after the traffic accident he had at the Bosphorus Bridge exit in September 1991.
It was determined that Oktay, whose car overturned, died from "a broken jaw, fractures in his left arm and internal bleeding as a result of his spleen rupturing" in the accident.
Ahmet Çalık passed away in a traffic accident on January 11, 2022, while returning from Konya to Ankara.

55-year-old Rincon, who was seriously injured when the car he was driving collided with a bus in the city of Cali in April 2022, died in the hospital to which he was taken.
