National tennis player Berfu Cengiz earned her first WTA main draw win of her career

Berfu, ranked 565th in the world rankings, faced Ortenzi, ranked 289th, at the WTA 250 level tournament held in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The 25-year-old national tennis player left the court victorious with sets of 6-1, 6-2 and became the opponent of Mexican Renata Zarazua (5th seed) in the second round.
