We're here to achieve the best in every competition, but to do that, we must work very hard from the very beginning. We must work hard to achieve our goals in these tournaments. We have goals in the league and Europe."
The 39-year-old manager, discussing the transfer process, said, "As you can imagine, my phone has rung a few times since February. I've had calls from clubs in leagues like England, Germany, Italy, France, and Spain, but I've never felt that thing that grabbed me. When I heard about the offer from Fenerbahçe, I felt completely different. It left a very positive impression on me. It evoked a very good feeling. First of all, there are so many Fenerbahçe fans in Germany. I also have so many friends who are Fenerbahçe fans. So I know that feeling. I wanted that feeling in my career because I've always enjoyed working at clubs like this."
Tedesco said the following about Christoph Daum, who previously worked at Fenerbahçe:
"I have very fond memories of him. He coached Stuttgart and made them champions. Stuttgart is my team, after all. I worked at their academy for 10 years. I also have a memory of my father taking me to Stuttgart's training session, and manager Christoph Daum was there showing the players some things. Later, he came here and won the championship twice. He was, above all, a great person and a great manager."
Domenico Tedesco also shared a message with the fans: "I'm very proud to be the coach of our fans. We need everyone to achieve our goals, match by match. Above all, we need to be a family. We need the support of our fans. I'm very proud to be here and can't wait to play against Fenerbahçe."
