Fenerbahçe has appointed Domenico Tedesco to fill the managerial role vacated by Jose Mourinho. Ismail Kartal, who was among the candidates for manager following Mourinho's departure, released a statement on his social media account.

İsmail Kartal made the following statement in his statement:

"During the process of determining Fenerbahçe's new coach, there has been serious misinformation about me, which is untrue and distorted.

As a son of Fenerbahçe, I reserve my right to respond, taking into account the election process.
