Bomb attack on one side of Syria, fair opening on the other

The Israeli army carried out an airstrike on Mount Mani, located in the Kuswah region south of the Syrian capital Damascus, last night.
According to Syrian state television, Al-Ikhbariyya, Syrian army units conducting a field search around Mount Mani found surveillance and listening devices. The report noted that while attempts were made to intercept the devices, the area was targeted by Israeli airstrikes. "Some soldiers were killed in the attack, others were injured, and vehicles were destroyed," it added.
At the same time as the attack, the 62nd Damascus International Fair was opening in Damascus. Ahmet Shara gave a speech at the fair. Fireworks were seen being set off.
