Kılıçdaroğlu reacts to operations against CHP

Former Republican People's Party Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu reacted to the operations against CHP municipalities with a post he made on his social media account.

Kılıçdaroğlu said, "We will continue to struggle with the hope that our Adana, Antalya and Adıyaman Mayors, our previous İzmir Mayor, our İzmir Provincial President and all other arrested mayors will be freed as soon as possible and return to their duties, and that democracy and justice will be achieved."

Kılıçdaroğlu's statement is as follows:

- You rise with justice and equity; you rot with oppression and cruelty.

- Do not be afraid. Do not be dispersed. Do not despair. As the end of the tyrant approaches, his cruelty increases!

- The Republican People's Party is the home of clean politics. Our party is committed to the principle of accountability and transparency.

- Our mayors and municipality employees can of course be investigated. However, if a process is to be carried out with the statements of the gangs of five and contractors enriched by the AKP; not only our CHP municipalities, but all municipalities that cause public harm, regardless of party, should be fairly investigated.

- With my feelings of solidarity, I stand with all our mayors and party workers who are populist, public-spirited and honest.

- We will continue to struggle with the hope that our Adana, Antalya and Adıyaman Mayors, our former İzmir Mayor, our İzmir Provincial President and all other arrested mayors will be freed as soon as possible and return to their duties, and that democracy and justice will be achieved.
