Hakan Fidan: Information is coming that the YPG is on the move

Fidan, who was attending a meeting on Cyprus in New York, assessed both Israel's attacks and developments on the ground in remarks at the Türkevi. Fidan stated that Israel has long pursued a policy of destabilization in the region, saying, "We are seeing a chain that begins in Gaza and extends to the West Bank, Lebanon, Iran, and now Syria. We cannot tolerate this unilateral and aggressive approach."
"INFORMATION IS COMING THAT THE YPG IS ON THE MOVEMENT" Fidan, drawing particular attention to the developments in southern Syria, said the following:
"We are receiving reports that the YPG is on the move. Our message is clear: Seeking to profit from the current chaos will only lead to greater problems. This process is delicate and fragile; everyone must maintain a constructive stance during this period."
"OUR GOAL IS TO PROVIDE CALM"
Fidan stated that President Erdoğan was informed following Israel's attacks and that they are in constant contact with regional countries. He said, "We are working in coordination with Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the US. We are in direct communication with US Special Representative for Syria Tom Barrack. Our goal is to ensure calm in the region."
Noting that the events in Southern Syria are concentrated in the regions close to the Jordanian border, Fidan drew attention to the clashes between the Druze and Bedouins and the harm suffered by civilians.
