Apple may surprise this week: All eyes on new products

Following Apple 's iPhone launch event in September, all eyes are now on the company's next move.
Apple is preparing to announce several new products in an online launch event this week, according to Bloomberg technology reporter Mark Gurman.
According to information reported by Gurman in the Power On newsletter, Apple will introduce the M5 chip in at least two new products: the new iPad Pro and Vision Pro.
Gurman notes that the introduction of these models “could happen at any time.”
NEW MACBOOK PRO MAY COMING
It's also reportedly "likely" that a new MacBook Pro model will be unveiled. However, it's expected to only feature the base M5 chip, with the more powerful M5 Pro and M5 Max versions expected to launch in early 2026.
No updates are expected this week for other products without the M5 chip. Gurman noted that updates to the HomePod mini, Apple TV, and AirTag, which are expected to be introduced by the end of the year, are still planned, but a definitive timeline for these products hasn't been released.
Looking ahead, Apple is also working on a new iPad with an A18 chip, an iPad Air with an M4 chip, two new external Mac monitors, and an iPhone 17e model that will be released in the first half of 2026.
