Governor Gül: We have created environments where our youth can realize their potential.

Speaking at the "Youth Development Academy" program, Istanbul Governor Davut Gül said, "We have implemented, and continue to implement, environments, competitions, science workshops, and science centers where our youth can realize their potential. You are successful young people, but what makes a difference today is not just knowledge; it's also thinking differently, communication skills, teamwork, sometimes the ability to act quickly, critical thinking, community awareness, and digital literacy. We believe that in this age where artificial intelligence is increasingly entering our lives, the virtues that make us who we are will become even more important."
As part of the program, students participated in various training sessions and workshops. The program was attended by Governor Gül, Istanbul Provincial Director of National Education Murat Mücahit Yentür, T3 Foundation Board Chair Elvan Kuzucu Hıdır, T3 Foundation Education and R&D Coordinator and Board Member Merve Koçoğlu, students, and parents.
'IT WILL BE MORE USEFUL FOR YOU IN YOUR FUTURE LIFE THAN ACADEMIC SUCCESS'Speaking here, Istanbul Governor Davut Gül said, "The T3 Foundation has done many good things. Most importantly, and I'm sure many of you have attended, we are the civil society organization that organizes the Teknofest events. We strive to implement projects beyond academic achievement as much as possible, both with the Governor's Office, with our District Governors, and with our National Education Directorates. We also collaborate with civil society organizations that are doing a good job in this field and, so to speak, are the flag bearers of this work in Türkiye. Today, as the Governor's Office and the National Education Directorate, we have become partners in these projects for our youth that the T3 Foundation has been carrying out for years. I would like to thank our Elvan President, Selçuk Bayraktar and his entire team for organizing these projects, and our teachers. I thank and congratulate you, our young people. Since you made a choice to come here on Saturday, you have a purpose. You want to learn, you want to achieve better. It is very valuable. I believe that what you have learned here in the past two and a half months, as well as what you have learned here and what our teachers have imparted to you here, will be more beneficial to you in your future lives than just academic success." "it will come in handy," he said.
Elvan Kuzucu Hıdır, Chair of the Board of Directors of the T3 Foundation, said, "Since our first day as Türkiye's technology team, our goal has been to instill a love of science, technology, mathematics, and science in our young people. We have created and continue to create environments, competitions, science workshops, and science centers where our young people can realize their potential. You are successful young people, but what makes a difference today is not just knowledge; it's also thinking differently, communication skills, teamwork, sometimes the ability to act quickly, critical thinking, community awareness, and digital literacy. We believe that in this age where artificial intelligence is increasingly entering our lives, the virtues that define us will become even more important."
'WE WILL SEND NATIONAL TEAM UNIFORMS'Following his speeches, Governor Gül also said, "We have a 'Sports City Istanbul' project being implemented by the Istanbul Governor's Office, and we've had national team jerseys made there. Next week, we'll be sending national team jerseys to everyone who attends these courses. Congratulations! Enjoy them."
