This Nike x Lego Collab Is a Slam Dunk

When we say there's a Lego set for almost everything, that includes one of our favorite sneakers. Nike just dropped the Lego Dunk high-top, a 1,180-piece replica of the iconic court shoe in brick form.

The detailed kit comes with pieces to build the Nike Dunk shoe, a basketball, and a graphic "Dunk" sign, prime for display on a shelf or in a closet near your sneaker collection. The basketball locks in on the top of the display and actually spins. Inside the shoe, there's hidden storage for interchangeable laces and championship rings. It also comes with a brand-new minifigure created just for this set dubbed B'Ball Head.

The Nike Dunk launched in 1985 as a basketball shoe, and then later gained traction with skateboarders. This is the first official Nike product to be created in Lego form, but more are on the way, including the Dunk Low, the skate version of this shoe. Adult collectors will surely be the first to snap it up, but it's classified for ages 10+, so it's easy enough for the burgeoning sneakerhead to build. (The kids are the real winners here: A bright yellow Nike Air Max Dn with Lego brick divots is launching in youth sizes later this summer.)

The brick Nike Dunk launched July 1 as a Lego store exclusive and retails for $100. This is the first installment of Nike's highly-anticipated collab with the toy company that's wooing grown men, one nostalgia-fueled hobby at a time. While nothing has been announced, we're holding out hope for a pair of Lego Air Jordans next.
