40-year-old actress Scarlett Johansson made box office history with her starring role in Jurassic World: Rebirth. The film grossed $318 million worldwide in its first six days of release, making it one of the fastest-grossing films of 2025.

According to the movie data platform The Numbers, the combined box office revenue of all films starring Johansson has reached $14.8 billion. This impressive figure earns her the title of “the highest-grossing leading actress of all time.”

Samuel L. Jackson, who previously held the record, fell to second place with a total gross of $14.6 billion, while Robert Downey Jr. came in third with $14.2 billion.

Approximately $8.7 billion of Johansson's total box office revenue comes from her roles as Black Widow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including the four Avengers films and Captain America: Civil War.
