Sommer development in Galatasaray

Galatasaray is carrying out extensive work for the transfer of a goalkeeper following the departure of Fernando Muslera.

One of the names that came to the fore in this regard was Inter's Swiss goalkeeper Yann Sommer.

Fabrizio Romano stated that Sommer is one of the names on Galatasaray's goalkeeper list, but no official contact has been made with the player or his club Inter so far.

The report also stated that the Galatasaray management is considering more than one goalkeeper alternative and that the final decision is expected to be made soon.

The 36-year-old goalkeeper, who also guarded Inter's goal in the Champions League final against PSG last season, has played 96 matches for the Italian team. The Swiss goalkeeper kept a clean sheet in 47 of these matches and saw the ball in the net 78 times.

Sommer, whose market value is 4 million euros, has a contract with Inter until June 30, 2026.
