Özgür Özel's harsh response to Yılmaz Özdil: They'll make him eat that reverse gear

Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel responded with harsh words to Yılmaz Özdil, who commented that he was "walking around like a pear" following the attack he was subjected to recently.

Özel, who said, "They will make you eat those 'reverse gear' words," also reacted to Sözcü TV where he was a guest.

Özdil, who was a guest on Sözcü TV the other day, had said to CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, who was attacked, "He walks around like a pear" and reacted to him for walking around without taking sufficient security measures.

Özdil had said the following:

"They say there is a security weakness. Actually, there is no weakness caused by the security personnel. If you tell Özel's bodyguard to 'protect him safely', they wouldn't let a bird fly. These politicians love to walk, to make wind. I am a journalist, I walk around with a gun, I have a license to carry it. Or for example, when I go to a signing ceremony, when we go to an address that has been announced in advance, 20 people protect us. This is possible. He is the CHP Chairman, but he walks around like a pear."

REACTION TO YILMAZ ÖZDİL AND SÖZCÜ TV

Özgür Özel, in the Sözcü TV live broadcast he attended today, reacted to Özdil's words and the channel management who did not take a stance against these words.

Yılmaz Özdil responded to Özel's reaction with a message on his social media account.

"I think he told me how much he loved me," said Özdil, and continued:

I think Özgür Özel told me how much he loved me on Sözcü TV, I was outside so I couldn't watch, what he forgot was that there are reasons why I love him so much - reasons that society doesn't know but will definitely learn - so our love is not without reason.
