Beylikdüzü Kavaklı Family Health Center No. 2 has opened! The number of patients has increased to 1,111.

Gözen emphasized that Türkiye has achieved a significant position globally with its investments in healthcare, saying, "When SGK hospitals were merged in the healthcare sector, there were serious objections. When the family doctor institution was established, there were serious objections. For Türkiye to become the capital of health tourism, many studies, especially in Istanbul, needed to be conducted. And very serious work was carried out in this regard."

Gözen, emphasizing the importance of family medicine institutions, stated that family health centers have begun to reach standards that citizens can reach on foot from their homes.
Provincial Health Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Emre Güner pointed out that data confirms Istanbul's status as the world's health capital, saying, "We call Istanbul the world's health capital because 500,000 foreigners come to Istanbul from 200 countries to receive healthcare services and this city provides 40% of Türkiye's healthcare services."

Güner emphasized that the Health Transformation Project was implemented under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan since 2002, and said:
"We provide the world's best healthcare services in hospitals with hotel comforts, refrigerators, and televisions. No matter how much you invest in treatment services, no matter how many hospitals you open, ultimately, you need to protect your health. We are working to build the Turkish Century with a healthcare model that protects, produces, and develops. Family health centers are the cornerstone of this."
The ceremony continued with a ribbon-cutting ceremony following the speeches and concluded with a sapling planting event in the garden of the family health center.
