Aydın City Hospital will open in December

Speaking to reporters after visiting the City Hospital, construction of which is nearing completion, Canbolat said they had visited a work of art that would be a source of pride for the city and the country.
Canbolat thanked President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the Ministry of Health for bringing the hospital to the city.
Canbolat, noting that the project is nearing completion, said, "By the beginning of December, we will have completed all necessary equipment and furnishings and have it ready for service. It's truly a beautiful project. We are now achieving a project that will raise the quality of healthcare in Aydın and raise the standard of healthcare provided to our citizens as much as possible."
Pointing out that the hospital is built on an area of 140 acres, Canbolat shared that its bed capacity is 1,300, but this number can be increased to 1,500 in emergency cases.
Canbolat, who stated that the hospital will employ 4,695 personnel upon opening, said, "An average of 18,000 to 20,000 patients will be seen daily. Another 4,000 people are expected to apply and receive treatment in the emergency room. The goal is to provide healthcare services to a total of 450,000 citizens here monthly. When we move, new service areas will be created. We will be adding new areas such as Spectroscopy, iodine therapy, a hyperbaric treatment center, and a hematology laboratory to Aydın's healthcare system for the first time."
Canbolat added that Aydın State Hospital, Atatürk State Hospital, and the Maternity and Child Diseases Hospital will also be moved here, and that healthcare services will be provided in these institutions' locations if deemed appropriate.
Provincial Health Director Eser Şenkul also took part in the visit.
