With the regulation published in the Official Gazette, licensing processes for opening private healthcare facilities will be determined by taking into account regional needs and the existing infrastructure of the cities.
In this context, investments will be encouraged in needed provinces in Anatolia, ensuring a balanced expansion of healthcare services across the country, and region-based idle capacity will be prevented in investments in private healthcare facilities.

🔹 AA Live for instant updatesThe new regulation, which will encourage investments in needy provinces, especially in Anatolia, will ensure that every citizen has access to healthcare services of equal quality standards.
In the new system, the medical branches to be invested in, specialized services, the size of the healthcare facility, and the medical devices to be used will be aligned. The physical capacity, manpower, and technological infrastructure of the licensed healthcare facility will be planned holistically.
The new legislation will allow all private healthcare facility licensing processes to be conducted centrally under the Ministry of Health's control. The transparent and auditable nature of every stage of the licensing process will ensure public confidence.
The regulation aims to align the dynamism of the private sector with national health policies and to build a more accessible, high-quality and sustainable health ecosystem for citizens in private health facilities.
