An Iranian female doctor was beaten in front of her children on Sarıyer beach.

Iranian medical doctor Aynaz B. went to a private beach in the Kumköy neighborhood of Istanbul's Sarıyer district with her aunt, friend, and three young children. However, upon arrival, an argument broke out between them and staff over the watermelon and other fruit they had brought with them.

Allegedly, Aynaz B. claimed the fruit belonged to children and asked to enter, but beach attendants refused. It's alleged that Aynaz B., who tried to record her cell phone during the argument, was physically assaulted, her phone being taken from her and thrown to the ground. Aynaz B.'s aunt and friend were also assaulted in front of the children.

While women and children were being removed from the beach after the incident, doctor Aynaz B. stated that the incident had deeply affected them both physically and psychologically.
