The orchestra of the "flying chief" has been making people love rock songs with symphonic interpretations for 16 years

The "Senforock Orchestra", which interprets local and foreign rock songs with a symphony orchestra under the management of Göçmen, who ends his concerts with the jumping move that he has made classic and is therefore known as the "flying conductor", is appreciated for presenting two musical genres together.

In its concerts, the orchestra presents the classic songs of artists such as Metallica, Europe, Deep Purple, Cem Karaca, Barış Manço, Erkin Koray, Üç Hürel and Fikret Kızılok to the audience with symphonic melodies.

Conductor Musa Göçmen told AA after the concert in Samsun that Senforock is an orchestra that combines the enthusiasm of rock music with the power of symphonic music.

Recalling that they founded the orchestra in 2009, Göçmen said that they performed their first concert at the Masters of Rock Festival, one of the most prestigious rock-metal festivals in Europe and held in the Czech Republic, then they carried out a project for the benefit of children affected by the tsunami in Japan, and then Senforock became a major rock movement in Türkiye.

Stating that there is a rock band, soloist, orchestra and choir in the Senforock Orchestra, Göçmen said, "This choir has a structure that grows with its participants and eventually turns into a giant rock choir. Naturally, it has the feature of combining the power of symphonic music with rock music and carrying its excitement to everyone. Most importantly, we continue to bring our music coming out of these lands; Barış Manço, Cem Karaca, Erkin Koray, Üç Hürel, whoever comes to mind... We continue to bring that music together with the audience in a symphonic rock format."

Stating that there is a very large audience listening to rock and classical music, Göçmen said, "When you bring these together, a completely different structure is formed. Both listeners get to know each other's music and at the same time, this synthesis actually gives birth to brand new music. Senforock Orchestra is a group that came together to play symphonic rock. That's why I think it's the only rock group in Türkiye, and maybe one of the few in the world, because we're not talking about musicians who came together for a project, but a completely giant group."

Emphasizing that the orchestra is exciting for them as well, Göçmen said, "When we look back, it has been 16 years. Thousands of concerts in 16 years, maybe an audience of millions, and the chance to work with many of our famous stars... Moğollar, Selda Bağcan and many projects have come to life in this way and continue to do so. Just think, it is our third day now, we are in Ankara, Cappadocia and Samsun. In this way, we are also experiencing a tour program that is in line with that rock spirit, to be honest."

Giving advice to young people, Göçmen concluded his words as follows:

"Your job is something that determines your life a lot, find a job that you love to do. Here at Senforock, the love and enthusiasm of people who love their job is reflected on the stage. When you love what you do and reflect this enthusiasm, the audience understands this and immediately joins you in this. Because everything that has love in it brings enthusiasm, beauty and a smile to life."
