8 of the 10 most-watched films in the first half of the year were domestic productions

According to information compiled by Box Office Türkiye, in the 6 months in which a total of 323 films, 195 of which were new, were released, the total number of viewers reached 13 million 863 thousand 770.

8 of the 10 most watched films were domestic productions. The most watched film was "Rafadan Tayfa: Cappadocia". The production, which was released on December 27, 2024, met with 1 million 684 thousand 523 viewers in 2025. The total number of viewers of the film was 2 million 277 thousand 872, while the revenue obtained exceeded 386 million 263 thousand liras.

The fifth film of TRT Çocuk's cartoon series Rafadan Tayfa is about the adventures of Hayri, Kamil, Sevim, Hale, Akın and Mert in Cappadocia. The film was directed and produced by İsmail Fidan, who also directed the other four films in the series.
