Widespread power outages will occur in the Bergama district of Izmir on Thursday, July 31, 2025, as part of grid renovation and maintenance work carried out by GDZ Elektrik. The outages will be applied in three separate timeframes in different neighborhoods, from morning until late afternoon.

OUTAGE BETWEEN 10:00-13:00 IN THOSE REGIONS

The first outage will begin at 10:00 a.m. and last until 1:00 p.m. Numerous streets and avenues in the Ayaskent, Zağnos, Aziziye, Doğancı, Paşaköy, and Kadıköy neighborhoods will be affected by the outage. Residents living on Şehit Cengiz Topel Avenue, İnönü Avenue, Göçbeyli Road, Gazi Halil İbrahim Tulu Street, Cumhuriyet Avenue, Ayaskent Village, and the surrounding area will be without electricity during this time.

CURRENT BETWEEN 2:00 PM AND 5:00 PM IN THOSE NEIGHBORHOODS

The second outage will be in effect from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The Ertuğrul, İnkılap, and Turabey neighborhoods will be affected. Residents of Çaltı Bahçe Avenue, Mektep Avenue, Harputlu Avenue, Metanet Avenue, and adjacent side streets should be prepared for a power outage this afternoon.

The longest outage will be in the Zeytindağ neighborhood, where it will begin at 10:00 a.m. and last until 4:00 p.m. Reşadiye Avenue, Atatürk Avenue, Lise Avenue, Park Street, and surrounding areas will be without power throughout the day.

İnönü Neighborhood: 773/1st Street, 761st Street, 763/2nd Street, 764th Street, 764/1st Street, 771st Street, 772/1st Street, Martyr Mustafa area, 764/2nd Street, 741st Street

EXTENDED CUT: DOĞANLAR NEIGHBORHOOD

In Doğanlar Neighborhood, outages will last longer. Residents living on 1497th Street and adjacent streets (1497/1, 1497/2, 1509/1, 1504, 1511, 1494, 1513/1) should be aware that the power outage will last until 3:00 PM.

Authorities stated that the work is aimed to be completed within the planned time, but the time may change due to weather conditions and technical reasons.
