They were going to a funeral, they flew into the ditch: 1 dead, 1 injured

The accident occurred in the morning hours on the Kırıkkale-Ankara D200 highway, near Irmak village. According to reports, the light commercial vehicle with the registration number 34 GAJ 06, driven by İ.G. (71), who was on his way from Tokat to Ankara to attend a relative's funeral, lost control of the vehicle and overturned into a ditch.

An 80-year-old passenger lost his life. Following the report, health, police, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. Upon examination, it was determined that Mustafa Kasman (80), a passenger in the vehicle, died at the scene. The injured FG (61) was taken to hospital by ambulance, while the driver, İ.G., survived the accident without injury.

The body was taken to the hospital morgue. Following an on-site examination by traffic police, Kasman's body was taken to the hospital morgue. The heavily damaged vehicle was towed to the parking lot.

An investigation into the accident has been launched.
