The thoroughbred named "Cutha" owned by Hulusi Çil and jockeyed by Ahmet Çelik finished first in the race at Veliefendi Hippodrome with a time of 2.30.28. The number 9 "Handsome King" owned by Asuman Yenice and jockeyed by Hışman Çizik came second with a time of 2.30.38, and the number 16 "Special Man" owned by Melih Temel and jockeyed by Vedat Abiş came third with a time of 2.30.40.

The thoroughbred named "Cutha", who won this important race in Turkish horse racing, earned his owner a prize of 30 million lira. The second place winner will receive 12 million lira, the third place winner 6 million lira, the fourth place winner 3 million lira, and the fifth place winner 1 million 500 thousand lira. Thus, the total prize money to be won by the first five thoroughbreds will be 52 million 500 thousand lira.

The owner of the thoroughbred that wins the race will earn a total of 46 million 335 thousand liras, in addition to the first place prize, including registration fees, installment fees and horse owner bonus. If the horse owner is also the breeder of the thoroughbred, the breeder bonus will also be included in this amount and the prize will reach 55 million 335 thousand liras.

AHMET ÇELİK'S EIGHTH VICTORY

Jockey Ahmet Çelik, who won the Gazi Race with a thoroughbred named "Cutha", achieved his 8th victory in this race. Ahmet Çelik, who holds the record for consecutive wins by winning this race 7 times in a row, last won the 95th Gazi Race with a thoroughbred named "Burgas".

After a 3-year break, Çelik once again achieved victory in the Gazi Race with "Cutha", becoming the champion for the 8th time in this race.

Ahmet Çelik also came close to breaking the record of Mümin Çılgın, who is the jockey who won the most championships with 9 championships.
