Tragedy on D-100 after rain: 4 people from the same family lost their lives!

The accident occurred on July 19 at the Yapraklı Junction underpass on the D-100 highway in the Tosya district of Kastamonu. The car with the license plate 34 BA 5323, traveling in the direction of Istanbul, skidded due to water accumulating in the underpass after the rain, hit the barriers, and crossed into the opposite lane.

Collision with truck, resulting in death in the vehicle The truck with license plate 55 AHS 500, driven by İ.U., coming from the opposite lane, collided with a car that suddenly appeared in front of it. Drivers Yavuz Selim Kalkışım, Erol Işıldak, and 7-year-old Asel Deniz Kalkışım died at the scene. Çiğdem Kalkışım, VI, OYK, and UAK, who were in the vehicle, were seriously injured.

More tragic news after 14 days: Çiğdem Kalkışım, one of the injured patients under treatment, lost her 14-day battle for life in the hospital. Thus, the death toll in the accident has risen to four.
