Armed clash in Eskişehir: 1 dead, 2 injured

The incident occurred late at night in Kumlubel Park in the Fatih neighborhood of the Tepebaşı district. An argument erupted between two groups reportedly feuding with each other in the park, which quickly escalated into an armed fight.

In the ensuing fight, Enes Ö. (20), Ali Han D. (23), and Volkan Taşdelen (34) were shot in various parts of their bodies with a gun and wounded. Police and a medical team were dispatched to the scene after being alerted by bystanders. After receiving initial treatment at the scene, the injured were taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment. Volkan Taşdelen, who was hit by two bullets in the abdomen, died despite medical intervention, while Enes Ö.'s life is reportedly still in critical condition.

3 suspects in custody

Eskişehir Police Department Public Security Branch teams quickly apprehended suspects Umut U. (35), Ahmet D. (18), and Cevdet D. (35), who were identified as fleeing the scene after the gunfight. The suspects, who were identified as having numerous criminal records, were taken to the police station for medical checks and questioning. During the investigation at the scene, a handgun was found near a parked car.
