The Ministry sent 5 million lira in aid to Bursa, where the fire has been raging for four days.

Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş said , “We transferred a total of 10 million lira to our Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundations, including 5 million lira to Bursa, 2 million lira to Eskişehir, and 3 million lira to Karabük.”

As fires continue to rage across the country, Göktaş issued a statement announcing that they are transferring resources to the Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundations to meet the urgent needs of citizens affected by the fires.
The supports provided are as follows:
- Bursa: 5 million lira
- Eskisehir: 2 million lira
- Karabük: 3 million lira
The Minister said, “We will continue to provide support and aid to our citizens affected by the fire with determination,” and continued:
“Psychosocial support teams have been on the field since the very first moment in the forest fires in Afyonkarahisar, Antalya, Bilecik, Bursa, Diyarbakır, Eskişehir, Kahramanmaraş, Karabük, Mersin, Sakarya and Uşak.
"Over the past week, we provided psychosocial support to 2,112 citizens with 220 personnel during the forest fires that occurred in 11 provinces. As the Ministry, we will continue to support our citizens during this challenging time."
