The dead body of the captain who set out to sea with his boat was found

There was no news for a long time from İsmail Hezer, who set out on his boat yesterday morning in the Akçay neighborhood of Balıkesir's Edremit district. After relatives reported him missing, Coast Guard teams launched a search in the area. Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality lifeguards also supported the search.

Hezer's lifeless body was found in the sea today during work carried out along the Akçay coastline by helicopters, boats and divers.

While his boat was being towed to the port, an investigation was launched into the incident.
