The "Kindness for Gaza" exhibition opened at the Dolmabahçe Art Gallery.

The "Kindness for Gaza Exhibition" was organized by the Turkish Red Crescent and the National Palaces at the Dolmabahçe Art Gallery. Visitors were treated to a wide range of works, from painting and calligraphy to illumination and ceramics. The exhibition, which opened its doors to art lovers, featured a total of 405 works. All proceeds from the charity exhibition will go to support the people of Gaza, who are facing hardship. The exhibition, which combines the healing power of art with compassion and solidarity, was met with enthusiastic public interest.

In his opening speech, Turkish Red Crescent Deputy Director General Mustafa Sarılar said, "This meaningful exhibition for Gaza, brought to life in collaboration with the Presidency of National Palaces and our esteemed artists, is not just an artistic event; it is also a powerful call to the conscience of humanity. The Kindness for Gaza exhibition is a very special solidarity project that brings together cooperation, compassion, and aesthetic understanding. Proceeds from the sales of all 405 works in our exhibition will be distributed to those in need in Gaza through the Turkish Red Crescent. Therefore, each work exhibited here represents a slice of bread, a sip of water, and a hope for Gaza. Unfortunately, the humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues to deepen. Accessing basic needs such as hunger, malnutrition, and access to clean water becomes increasingly difficult every day. As the Turkish Red Crescent, in coordination with the Palestinian Red Crescent, we have delivered hot meals to 21,000 people in Gaza every day. I'm talking about the recent 5-10 day period you've brought to Gaza." "Thank God, we were able to bring 473 of our trucks into Gaza," he said.

"The number of our trucks sent to Gaza has exceeded 450"

Mustafa Sarılar, noting that trucks destined for Gaza are waiting in warehouses in Egypt, said, "Thousands of our trucks are waiting in warehouses in Egypt. Unfortunately, because we haven't received permission, we can't deliver them to Gaza. We're trying to do this in the most appropriate way possible whenever we have the opportunity. We're also continuing to meet basic needs by providing drinking water support. The number of our trucks, containing aid sent from Egypt and Jordan and dispatched to Gaza through the Kerem Shalom border crossing, has exceeded 450. As you can appreciate, during this period of irregular and uncertain entry into the region, the delivery of each aid item requires a special effort and dedication. I also extend my sincere gratitude to everyone involved for working tirelessly day and night for the oppressed people there, who, despite all the difficulties, have not turned their backs on Gaza."
