Six dead after ambulance plane crashes in Chile

The Metropolitan Region Presidential Delegate, Gonzalo Gonzalo Duran, told reporters that the wreckage of the ambulance plane that crashed in the mountainous area of the city of Curacavi, in the Metropolitan region, had been found.
Duran, who reported that 6 people on the plane, including the pilot, co-pilot, doctor, nurse, patient and patient companion, lost their lives, said they were deeply saddened by the accident.
Chilean President Gabriel Boric de X expressed his condolences to those who lost their lives in the accident in his statement on his social media account.
"I offer my deepest condolences and love to the families of the 6 people who lost their lives in the tragic ambulance plane crash in the Curacavi region," Boric said.
"Following this painful loss, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the state institutions that worked quickly and devotedly to locate the missing and minimize the impact of the incident. I share the pain of the relatives of those who lost their lives in these difficult times and emphasize once again the importance of standing in solidarity."
