Shuttle bus crashes into workplace, injuring 21 people

21 people were injured in a chain traffic accident that occurred in the Aksu district of Antalya this morning. The accident took place on Serik Street in the Güzelyurt Neighborhood at around 07:00.
According to the information received, the tour company's minibus with the registration number 07 C 4332, driven by Emre I., which was travelling from Antalya to Serik, collided with the hotel shuttle bus with the registration number 07 CAY 97, driven by Turgut D., and the truck driven by Süleyman K. Due to the impact of the collision, the shuttle bus came to a stop after hitting a workplace on the side of the road.
21 People Injured, Driver Trapped
Police, fire department and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. The driver, who was trapped in the bus, was rescued by fire department teams. 21 people who were slightly injured in the accident were taken to hospital by ambulance as a precaution. Some passengers were treated as outpatients.

Business Owner: “Thank God, No Loss of Life”
The owner of the workplace that was hit by the bus, Süleyman Özbay, said, “Our employees woke up early this morning with a noise. The bus collided with 2-3 vehicles and arrived at the workplace. There were nearly 20 injured. These drivers should not be overworked. Thank God there was no loss of life. What comes to you should come to your property, not to your life.”
