Fire breaks out in the garden of Bakırköy Mental and Nervous Diseases Hospital
The fire broke out at around 15:00 in the garden of Bakırköy Prof. Dr. Mazhar Osman Mental Health and Nervous Diseases Education and Research Hospital. Citizens who noticed the fire that broke out in the wooded area in the hospital garden for an unknown reason reported the situation to the fire department and hospital authorities. Fire crews, who were dispatched to the scene upon notification, quickly intervened in the fire. Thanks to the timely intervention of the crews, the fire was brought under control and extinguished before it spread to a wide area.
The hospital garden was a heavily wooded area at the time of the fire, which caused brief panic. An investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire.
