Resume of suspended Antalya Police Chief İlker Arslan: Why was he dismissed?

Antalya Police Chief İlker Arslan graduated from the Police Academy in 1994 with the rank of Deputy Commissioner. Arslan began his career at the Ankara Provincial Police Department and held various positions at the General Directorate of Security, Siirt, and Ankara throughout his career. He served as Head of the Witness Protection Department between 2016 and 2021, and as Internal Affairs Counselor at the Embassy of North Macedonia in Skopje between 2021 and 2024.

İlker Arslan, who was appointed as Antalya Provincial Police Chief by the Presidential Decree dated August 16, 2024, was born in Sivas and is married with three children.
